About the Role
We are seeking an AI Engineer Intern to support the development of AI-driven solutions and digital transformation initiatives. This internship provides hands-on exposure to AI systems, automation workflows, and modern AI tools under the mentorship of senior engineers.
Role and responsibilities:
1. Digital Process Transformation Support
- Assist in analyzing business workflows to identify automation opportunities
- Support the development of simple AI agents or automation scripts
- Help document and test AI-driven workflows
2. AI Tools & Platform Exposure
- Assist in using platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, AWS Bedrock, or Dataiku
- Support integration of AI components into existing workflows
3. Knowledge Retrieval & Data Preparation
- Help prepare data for AI systems (e.g., cleaning, structuring, chunking)
- Support the development of basic Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
- Assist in organizing datasets and knowledge sources
4. Machine Learning Support
- Assist in simple ML tasks such as data preprocessing and model testing
- Support evaluation of model outputs and performance
5. Research & Innovation
- Research AI tools, frameworks, and new technologies
- Assist in evaluating open-source or public AI models
6. Responsible AI & Governance (Basic Exposure)
- Learn about AI governance, data privacy, and ethical AI practices
- Support documentation and compliance-related tasks
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Two to four years of experience in a client-facing role such as business analysis, pre-sales, solutions consulting, or technical account management
- Demonstrated experience working alongside technical teams on solution design or delivery
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Final-year student or recent graduate in AI, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields
- Basic knowledge of Python or other programming languages
- Fundamental understanding of AI/ML concepts
- Familiarity with data processing and APIs is a plus
- Strong interest in AI technologies (LLMs, automation, agents)
- Good research and self-learning ability
- Strong problem-solving mindset and curiosity
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain)
- Basic understanding of LLMs or RAG concepts
- Experience with cloud platforms is a plus
- Good English communication skills
