We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Security Intern to support our efforts in strengthening the organization’s security posture. The role involves researching best practices in cybersecurity, identifying risks, and assisting the technical team in implementing preventive measures.
This is an excellent opportunity for a student or fresh graduate interested in exploring cybersecurity, IT governance, and risk management in a real-world corporate environment.
Role and responsibilities:
- Research and analyze industry best practices in data security.
- Assist in identifying potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Support the technical team in security awareness initiatives.
- Propose ideas to improve data protection, access control, and compliance.
- Help with documentation of policies, security checklists, and risk reports.
- Hands-on experience in real-world data and analytics projects.
- Mentorship and guidance from experienced technical and business professionals.
- Exposure to cross-functional collaboration within the same department and shared initiatives.

Requirements:
- Strong interest in cybersecurity and IT security frameworks.
- Good research and analytical skills.
- Ability to clearly document findings and proposals.
- Team player with good communication skills.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of basic cybersecurity concepts (encryption, authentication, firewalls).
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 security features.
- Coursework or projects in IT security, networks, or computer science.

- Internship allowance is not available, but you will have a meaningful internship here!
- All internships are consultative. This means that both you and your supervisor will need to be proactive in discussing the details of the role, setting targets, and regular check-ins, both prior to arrival and during your internship.
- Internship period: 1–12 months (flexible start and end dates).
