Role and responsibilities:
The Operations Intern will support daily operational activities across assigned hotel departments while participating in a structured rotational program. The role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to hotel operations, service standards, and guest experience delivery.
Front Office
- Assist in guest check-in and check-out procedures
- Support reception operations and guest inquiries
- Handle basic administrative tasks under supervision
- Ensure a smooth guest experience at arrival and departure
Food & Beverage
- Support restaurant service operations
- Assist in table setting, guest service, and order handling
- Maintain cleanliness and service readiness standards
- Support banquet or event service when required
Kitchen
- Assist in basic food preparation under supervision
- Support mise-en-place and kitchen organisation
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards
- Observe and learn the kitchen operations workflow
Housekeeping
- Assist in room cleaning and preparation according to hotel standards
- Support linen, laundry, and housekeeping inventory management
- Maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas
- Replenish room amenities and supplies under supervision
- Assist in room inspection preparation and quality standard checks
- Follow hygiene, safety, and brand standards in all housekeeping tasks
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in hospitality/tourism or related field
- English communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the operational environment
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Please note:
Internship period: 1–12 months (flexible start and end dates).
