As a Sales Support Intern, you will assist the Account Managers (AM) and Sales Supporters (SSE) with the day-to-day administration's smooth running and handle issues and requests from the assigned customer accounts.

 

You love to work with people and try your best to accommodate every call for support. Thus, communication skills, patience, empathy, and a customer-centric mindset are critical elements to help you succeed in this role. You will be exposed to endless opportunities to work directly with customers both in person and virtually. An enthusiastic individual who is willing to go the extra mile to maintain customer satisfaction is what we need!

Role and responsibilities:

1. Sales Admin

  • Acquire a strong understanding of the sales process and provide assistance where needed
  • Enter the required data on customers and opportunities to ensure the information related to the assigned customers on our CRM system is up to date
  • Assist AM and SSE in handling requests from existing clients – follow up with the Professional Services team to get out the scope of work for issuing quotes/proposals
  • Assist SSE in all kinds of paperwork and admin tasks throughout the sales cycle: preparing proposals, quotations, contracts, acceptance protocols, liquidations, and other documents as required by customers, internal and external meetings, tracking records, taking minutes, sales reports, etc.
  • Store & keep track of all relevant sales documents in both physical storage and online systems

2. Customer Care

  • Assist SSE in handling customer requests to promptly solve and transfer those inquiries to the appropriate parties
  • Advise on the customers’ queries/ requests/expressions of interest for products/ services
  • Record highlighted activities made to the customers in our CRM system
  • Support AM and SSE to coordinate with Sales Operations for customer care activities
  • Assist AM and the business development team in business plan implementation by contributing insights into market research, customer profile research, event preparation, etc.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate or fresher majoring in business administration, operations or similar, and desiring to be exposed to B2B sales
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in Business English to be capable of working and communicating with corporate customers
  • Master the use of Office applications with an understanding of data entry and analysis
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., FreshSales, Salesforce) is a plus
  • Comfortable and attentive to details in handling documentation and bidding procedures

  • Internship allowance is not available, but you will have a meaningful internship here!
  • All internships are consultative. This means that both you and your supervisor will need to be proactive in discussing the details of the role, setting targets, and regular check-ins, both prior to arrival and during your internship.
  • Internship period: 1–12 months (flexible start and end dates).
